Saturday 15th September will see the 4X ProTour finals take place in Leogang, Austria. After 4 incredible races so far in 2013, we simply can't wait to roll into Leogang and watch the finest 4X riders in the world race on this classic track. Leogang, in northern Austria, is one of the best 4X tracks in the world. A start gate that drops immediately into a stall wall, split track, ProLine doubles, bridge, rocks, logs, 45 foot double jumps and high speed await the riders and spectators. Passing, action and unpredictable action are the ingredients that always make 4X racing at this track amazing to watch for spectators.
Who to watch:
The 2013 season has been spectacular so far. In the women's, Britain's Katy Curd has been unbeaten so far in the first four rounds. She has dominated this year and will be looking for a perfect season with 5 wins from 5. Caroline Buchanon, Anneke Beerten, Celine Gros and Lucia Oetjens will head up the challenge against Katy. The big question is, will any of the women hit the pro line doubles. We think they will....
Tomas Slavik heads into this race as the 2013 4X ProTour Champion. He has definitely been the man to beat in 2013. The fight in Leogang that everyone will be watching will be for second position in the overall standings. Michal Prokop, Scott Beaumont, Felix Beckeman and Quentin Derbier are all separated by 60 points and the battle to sort out the top 5 will be very interesting.

With the UCI World Championships taking place on the same track just one week later, there are quite a few riders who will be racing the ProTour that aren't in contention for the overall. Joost Wichman, Blake Carney and the rumour that American pro BMX rider Barry Nobles will be racing has added a touch of spice to this final round.
So the stage is set for a great race. As mentioned, with the UCI 4X World Championships being held in Leogang on September 21st - just a week after the final 4X ProTour round, Leogang is all set to turn into a week long 4X festival. See you all trackside.
